Default New Shadowbane Wallpaper/DesktopPictures

Hi folks,

I was mucking about with some of my old Shadowbane screen shots in Photoshop and came up with some very interesting wallpaper. I used a filter that turned the in game screen shots into sort of Comic-esque scenes. Let me know what you fellas think...

seeing those picks I can't help but think SB still had a lot of potential left in it. So much great new content and fixes could have been made. There was a base of good pvp mechanics just needed some new content and upgrades.

Though I think SB had it's time and it had a great run for an MMO despite it's difficulties, as I was making these scenes I had similar thoughts as you Sol. Perhaps a Shadowbane 2 wouldn't have been such a bad idea after all.

you've convinced me that it would look pretty awesome if it was cell-shaded. Which filter did you use? A little cleaning on some of the artifacts and those could be mistaken for actual untouched renders by non SBers

Had I discovered this when SB was still active, I totally would have made a web comic out of them. Unfortunately now that we no longer have access to the game, it's impossible to get the screenshots I'd need to create the scenes.

I used the "poster edges" filter with some tweaking. If you have some screen shots and photoshop available, I'd love to see what other's could come up with.

I'm pretty sure I still have all of my old screens. Let me know if you would want them to play around with.

Yeah, I'll run them through the filter for you if you. Can you link them or would you rather send them in an email?

Just imagine how great would SB look if it had that visual filter in game. Pure win!
