When I first started playing Wererat dagger chucking Scouts were bomb. After that it came down to Coix Thief or Shade Wizzy.
Edit: For a more original build I really enjoyed my dual sword Vamp Thief, just didn't have the same city camping ability as a Coix. I miss Shadowbane, but I'm glad that I was away the last few months as it seemed pretty dead. I like to think I'm fairly patient but I'm really itching for info on this Future Fantasy thing. I can narrow it down to three builds.
Vandarr - Buffless build, built to be competitive vs. the enemy with buffs, as pre-buff pots, I went without them. Ambuscade - Hybrid defense/resist build, built to take advantage of buffpots, but still use some of the strengths of the Vandarr build as well. Lost - Max Con build - topped 7k hps on a scout with buffs (though ususally went with different gear, giving me 71% pierce and 6500 hps). What made this so fun was everyone assuming it was high def since my health bar didn't seem to move that much. After the blademaster change, allowing me to stack riposte with a bleeding suffix hood and the Vorgrim chest, I had a lot more fun with it. It was a terribly gimped build, but it was a blast to play with. Ok, so maybe Lost was the most fun - though Vandarr was the best build overall due to its versatility.

My Max Con/Int Human Rogue Proccing Hammer Chucking Barbarian. Absolute **** dps unless lady-luck was on your side, 12-15k hp though with ungodly dodge/regen...etc., but fun as hell to mess around with.
Other than that I enjoyed the simple Dwarf Priest for years of GvG play; generic, simple, and healing was my favorite role to play...tbh. |

A few.
My shield minos were always fun, especially after rougebane broke out. Human mage sorc bards were fun to play. My int/con aelf spearwolf warrior was always a blast too. This is a toon that also did well during rougebane. |

Also a really fun toon - (when in a group/siege) CS on Entropy we rolled with a lot of Fighterlocks/Deflocks
With maybe 10-20 active, duel groups of about the same: 6 deflocks + 1(maybe 2) healer priest + usually a random selection of toons to fill in the spots we thought we might need (i.e. chuckers if we knew we'd fight a lot of heavy hitting glass / templars if we knew we'd fight a lot of stam hungry meat) / stunners or holy nukers, maybe stealth assassin ready to SM/Blind then shortly after die (usually duel account and played something else after assassin died)- And to finish have 2 bow scouts to run in and out for def debuffs and pop/ground. Worked really well - target caller (skorp) would cast the debuff, once he called it you'd see 10+ blue/purple circle nukes smash into it - then instantly a kill message through the guild. Repeat. Probably the most fun I've ever had in a game, CS on Entropy, was just so much fun to wreck much larger clans by organization and skill not by numbers. - Warrior Nation on Chaos was fun as hell too, though we certainly used numbers to the advantage; the first major server war Shadowbane ever saw. Good times, I miss Shadowbane

The original Dubanka the Mad - hbat proccing templar (corruption, made before templars got fotm'd) - unique at the time, and suprisingly effective (to the surprise of guildies and enemies alike
)staff rogue (irk) ranger - under rated, and with comedy value...as i typically went for a por 100% - crap, what was the staff that looked like a double edged pitchfork? anyway, it was friggin huge. I think i killed folks from wtf comedy value alone with it. Last edited by Dubanka; 07-24-2009 at 09:23 PM.. |

I loved my UA proc barb. Didn't beat everything, but he was pretty darn good.
When I was learning to play, I played a channeler. I lived through some crazy things back then, and thinking back on it I really don't know how. The build was pretty terrible, but I got a good amount of killshots and survived pretty long most of the time. Might just like that toon because I learned to play on it, though.
