So me and my roommate are discussing buying a 250 dollar gaming projector to display the monitor on our white painted wall, while also buying a cordless keyboard and air mouse to effectively play anywhere in the general room w/o table or hard surface

I stuck my old recliner in front of my computer back when I played Asheron's Call. Man, that ruled. It even made being an advocate that much nicer.

Reading text/chat might be an issue. Worst case scenario fire up your console on that projecting over your computer monitor. That way its easy on the eyes to play both during downtime lol.

I acctually am settting up my plasma display with another PC I had laying around the house. Its quite neat. I would really recommend getting the Windows Media Centre thing if your going to do it though. WMC lets you can do so much more.

I was thinking about trying that DIY project with an old laptop LCD and building a projector.
For me DIY projects just end in a lot of wasted money and some explaining to either the fire department or the emergency room nurse.

Flux, does song lists not allow you to get around that problem?

i prefer WMC over Itunes any day, the only reason why i use Itunes instead of WMC is that, Itunes has about 75% more music on it because i use it for my Ipod. and i just want to say, Itunes is the biggest steaming pile of code ive ever used... ever, it lags my computer when im playing a internet game and ripping a song onto my comp. its just plain terrible.
