The more I use these forums the more I like them. Good work! I really like how the PMs work, very cool. One of my favorite features is what it doesnt have...I dont get spammed with the ban/unban notifications. Woot!

The only thing I'd like to see is a choice of skins. The white on black makes my eyes cross after a short while. :eek:


And maybe antialias the emotes.

Agree that different skins would be nice - I prefer a black on white or yellow on black font, its usually easier for me to read

1.) True. I hate how my PM box is getting spammed by those mod messages on the other boards. It took me about 30 minutes to mark all of them as read when I took a break for a few months.

2.) True again, white on black sucks. My eyes are getting weary reading the text here, would be very nice to get one or two alternative skins.

I dont like black text on white bg. Maddox made a very good point on his website: That looking at a computer screen is like looking at a lightbulb, not a piece of paper. So dark BG with light text is much more easy on the eyes.

There are two things I'd like to see:

2. User avatars

The is no way to force people to make optimized avatars, unless we host them, and that can quickly become a bandwidth nightmare. If you look at mine its under 2K. I found some on the ubisoft forums that are over 50K.

Maybe we can look into it, but at the very minimum I would have to approve all of them first.

Ya, it's kinda scary though. I don't like people crazy eyeing me. I'm paranoid.

It's only boring because you're too centered in the picture. Do a close up face like KayleeM and it should be more interesting since you lack all that empty space around you.

And try to give it an angle which suggests movement... KayleeM's best achieves this because of her hair otherwise hers would be a bit boring as well.

Or, you could just do a freaky clown avatar... That would be awesome.
