-- Message Board Rules --

We welcome everyone in being able to participate in the community. In order for members' experiences to be the best as possible, and as with all social circles, there are rules that must be followed.

No Pornographic Material. Any pornographic oriented imagery or links to such content will not be tolerated.

No Warez or Illegal Software. This includes linking to illegal downloads of not only software, but copyrighted images that must be purchased, movies, and other items being illegally distributed. It also includes the illegal modification of any game files as covered in the license agreement(s).

No Profanity. Please keep in mind that we do have young people browsing these forums.

No Flames of any kind against a member, or group of members including admins and moderators. Flames are considered a deliberate personal attack on another member or group of members. Having a difference of opinion is fine, but if it gets out of hand and turns into a fight to get the biggest jab at the other person, then its gone too far.

No Slamming. Slamming is making offensive, condescending, or insulting comments about a user,or a product in order to pick an online fight.

If you are a long standing member, act like one. Lead by example and assist other newer members rather then attacking them. We look upon our veteran members to use this opportunity to teach the newer members the appropriate way to use these message boards.

Treat new members with respect, and visa versa. You were new at one point, as was everyone else. Please treat newcomers to the forums with respect, and new members should treat everyone else the same way.

Respect. Respect others and treat them, as you would like to be treated. Posting a thank-you to someone who has helped, or tried to help you, is a great way to encourage that person to continue helping. At the same time there is no need for being condescending or hurtful to others.

Posts in a particular forum need to stay on topic. If you want to talk about something that is drastically removed from the topic of a forum, please take it to General Chit Chat. The General Chit Chat forum is for members to discuss issues not related to a specific forum title, or even games at all.

Short Signatures. In order to keep our forums as uncluttered and fast as possible, we have disabled the use of images and we request you keep text in signatures to under 2 lines. Manually posting a signature picture or text in every post is not allowed. (this includes macros or any other exploits)

No spamming. Spamming is characterized by the initiation of threads or posts that contribute nothing to a forum, be it off topic or on topic. Examples include: empty posts, posts with few words that have no relation to the current thread or discussion and those posts that state they are spam, either to annoy or increase a member's post count. This determination is made by the forum Moderator or Administrator and is not up for discussion.

Personal Discussions. Please refrain from having personal discussions with other board members on the forums; there are e-mail and Internet messaging programs for that purpose.

Do not attempt to impersonate other forum members. This includes Shadowbane officals, and forum moderators/administrators. Such an attempt will not be successful and it is an offense that will get you banned from the forums - no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

We reserve the right. We reserve the right to pull, edit, delete or move any posting(s) we deem inappropriate, regardless of the rules. Also to ban any member who violates the rules. We will be fair and provide warning in most cases, but there are times where no warning can or will be given.

No Disscusion of Banned Players from any related games or these forums. These are issues that have nothing to do with the general poplation, so they inturn don't need to be aired out on the forums (This includes personal issues with user vs user).

Deleted, Closed and Locked Post. Deleted, Closed or Locked Post are to remain that way, they may not be reopened for disscussion!! If a user or users post a post to continue a discussion, they are subject to having there posting privalges revoked. No If's and's or but's.

Any user whose posting privileges are revoked. We do not like to have to revoke users, and do so only when all other forms of rational interaction have been exhausted. Because we do not take banning lightly, a banned user must prove her/his sincerity in wishing to rejoin the forum community as a considerate and helpful forum user A revoked user must convince the Message Board Staff that s/he is fully prepared to comply with the board rules in all future forum use if s/he wishes to be welcomed back to the forums.

Enjoy yourself. You can have a great time posting and we look forward to your feedback.

Warnings. If you have been offically warned by a Admin or Moderator take it seriously. If users do not take a hint the first time around, their posting privledges will be revoked for an indefinate ammout of time. Any attempt in circumventing any ban will result in us contacting your ISP (Internet Service Provider) and have you null routed from contacting our server(s).

The Stray Bullet Games Forums Administrators and Moderators reserve the right to change or alter these rules at any time. Anything not expressly covered in these rules is subject to an Administrator/Moderator's approval. An Administrator and/or Moderator's word is final.

If you don't like or agree with these rules, please don't post. If you break these rules, we reserve the right to revoke your posting privileges. Remember, posting here is a privilege and not a right. Also remember that any discussion of these rules is to be held through the Message Board Administrators or Message Board Moderators via e-mail, and not on the forums themselves.
