I haven't seen a preloader for an html site since 1998.

We're useing standardized stuff, nothing fancy.

Yeah, but the only thing that's being preloaded is the massive shadowbane gif (http://www.straybulletgames.com/images/promotional_shadowbane_ani.gif) that takes up 80% of the space. Just toss that thing into flash, which will downsize it by about 9000% and then there's no need for an obsolete preloader.

Halethrain is right. I chuckled the first time I saw that preloader come up.

Either put the animation in flash, or remove the animation. I can watch video clips of Mayor Adam West at mayoradamwest.com without a preloader, so this site shouldn't need one either.
