Will the SBG be maintaining the game only? Or will it try to iprove upon SB as we know it.

Yes, Shadowbane is indeed the property of Ubisoft. Stray Bullet Games (that being us) is a 3rd Party Developer who has been contracted to keep Shadowbane alive and well.

That's a quote from Ashen in This thread. (http://www.straybulletgames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20)

If that doesn't totally answer your question...yes SBG will be maintaining and updating Shadowbane. I know I may not be official or anything, but the team has let me know that they will be wiping test for more exciting and intriguing content and updates coming soon to a live server near you! Check Here (http://ubbforums.ubi.com/showflat.php?Cat=30&Board=sb_testfeedback&Number=2755692&page=1&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1) for the thread on the Testing Feedback forums on the Chronicle.

Ah, thanks a bunch!

Hmmm, I wonder if any graphic or engine upgrades are in the works. Anyone care to speculate?

SBG is a even smaller company then WP was. Don't think they have the manpower to port the game over to a completely new engine. I'd guess they'll save this for a completely new game.

I'd think so too Alex.

The only way we would replace the engine for SB would be if Ubisoft wants us to. It would be a lot of work, but we could do it.
