Ubi-board banned account

Dear Abby,
So who do we contact now to ***** about our ubi posting account being banned? I tried emailing Ashen but the listed email addy I have is still @wolfpackstudios.com or whateva. My account isn't actually banned I believe, I can post from home, but not work. At work I get the message "You have been banned from making any new posts or sending private messages. The reason for this ban is: Avoiding ban, personal attacks permanent ban" (which I'm sure none of you believe anyway. C'mon... I'm a ****in saint if ever there was one). Although I find these boards MUCH more fun, some things on the ubi boards just absolutely SCREAM for expert, sagely advice from your dear Uncle Cools. What should I do?!

its an IP ban, according to ben thats the onyl way you can be banned, atleast thats what he said when i got banned...

Firstly, I'm Envie, not Abby, but I do give great relationship advice!

I'm sure your reputation remains impecable and should thus be reinstated for timely contribution to the Ubisoft Shadowbane community.

In order to assist you with your unfortunate situation, you must have the help of a Community Manager. Doubly unfortunate is that the ubisoft forums have lost their previous CM's when they slammed the doors shut on Wolfpack.

I advise you petition Ubisoft directly from distinguished members of the community such as yourself and about 50 of your closest friends. Have them send emails to the ubisoft support center...

Look, ubisoft even has a tutorial on how to get better support (no they are clearly not support pantyhose):

Once you have managed to dig up a real honest to gosh living breathing support email, do let us know.

Oh and when you contact them, all you and your friends, please title your email: "HIRE SBG FOR CM OF SHADOWBANE PLZ - SEE ASHEN TEMPER!"

That should help get their attention.

Dearest Envie,
While I value any and all advice I can get, there is no way in hell I am going to go through Ubi support help-desk thingy thingy. Ubisoft is a pile of crap and I wish nothing but Ebola and Herpes outbreaks in their offices and in the homes of every Ubisoft employee (not to mention the whole country in which Ubisoft is based). In fact, if I died right this second and went up to the pearly gates, I would look down on Ubisoft, unzip my pants and let my disdain for them rain down from the clouds- thus INSURING my entrance into heaven because as we all know, God liked Shadowbane much more before corporate greed took a dump on some visionaries' dream.

So, in conclusion, I suppose I'll just plead here that Ashen unban this IP.
Side note: Is it unsafe to post my ip address in a public forum like this? I have no idea what that information can necessarily be used for.

Translation: Maybe there's no one at SBG wants to do the administrative work ubisoft doesn't include in their contract? Afterall, SBG isn't the same as Wolfpack, who was -owned- (read: chained dog) by Ubisoft. If I am correct in this wild speculation, you may not have much better luck getting your account unbanned here with the SBG guys. They will point you to ubicogs.

I'd love to help. Once again, suggest that to Ashen ;)

I haven't talked to Sachant in awhile, but I heard she got a spanky new job and is doing great! I used to play WoW on the same server with her and the UDL crew though we were never in the same guild. I'm still there (Envie), but I believe most of Sachant's cronies have moved on. Sachant and I met back in Shadowbane beta days.

I will make a point to have her come say hello to old pals when I talk to her again, we usually end up bumping into one another from time to time.

That means the IP of where ever you are posting from has been banned. Either someone else working with you earned it or you did yourself. IP bans are not given lightly so odds are you or a co-worker did something very severe to earn it.
