Elves! (First real thread)

I think I speak for all my of nation when I damand the presence of Elves in the new game. The front page image is promising but I'd like more information on what kind of culture they'll be lording over everyone else and how and why they make all the other races chumps.

Well, the Elves were the first thread to two pages dispite being newer than three of the other ones, so its obvious that we own whatever other races might attempt to co-exist in our glorious shadow.

So obviously from the concept art Elves aren't going to be anti-technology. Will they still be the eldest race and perhaps the most enlightened as they were in Shadowbane or will they be more isolated either geographically or culturally from the rest of the world?

Also, when you say Future Fantasy, are you talking future from the point of view of our world or the standard fantasy setting? Obviously there are cybernetics as exampled by the lizard mount and possibly the ape, but will the rest of the technology be downplayed to maintain the prominence of swords and other low tech solutions or will it simply be a matter of handwavium?

Also, you say that it is not post-apocalyptic but there is obvious evidence of a fall of some kind in at least some portions of the world. Would this be the fall of a race(s) or specific/general region that perhaps causes a backslide in techology?

Having elves and any other cheesy race is A FAILURE OF IMAGINATION. There is no reason to have un-original races.
