Stray Bullet Games, an independent developer of Massively Multiplayer Online games, seeks a World Designer with strong design sense and a demonstrated ability to create, implement, and tune compelling game spaces.
Responsibilities:
Define layout, flow, and play areas of exterior and interior locations
Define pacing and levels of interactivity
Rig and build locations with scripted encounters and interactive objects
Place creatures and define behaviors using internal tools and scripting

Desired Skill Set:
3+ years game development experience with at least 1 shipped title
Familiarity with 3D tools used to create and tune game levels
Experience using 3D modeling packages (Maya, 3D Studio)
Experience writing or implementing game objectives using a scripting language (Java, Python, LUA, custom)
Ability to clearly and concisely define game areas and feature sets
The ability to understand and adapt to new technologies, including various scripting languages and proprietary tools
Strong creative problem solving skills
Solid writing skills
Ability to accept and integrate constructive feedback into ones design
Able to work in a team environment and communicate well with others
Able to provide realistic time estimates and work within schedule constraints
College degree in an art or technical track or equivalent experience
A passion for creating fun and exciting MMO games!
